Present opening

When I am given presents I first open and read the card.
then I tear open the present or open the gift bag.
then I will examine the gift and hug whoever gave it to me.
I love presents and Christmas is the perfect time for them!

Phobias

Phobia is a fear to do something.
Fear means scared or frightened. Phobia is a situation like driving or animals. you just feel like you just can't be in the situation or be near the object.
I have a phobia of Injections. I hate them and when I hear that I need to have one I feel scared and don't want to do it. 

the phobia connected to my fear is trypanophobia. It means to be scared to go to have medical treatments and doctors. I am ok with going to the doctors that way I don't have this phobia.
Another Phobia is Cynophobia. Short story its a fear of dogs. I sort of have this.

the last one I am going to tell you about is Astraphobia. It is the fear of thunder and lighting. I can relate to this one as we had a thundercloud above Ngatea in the afternoon of Wednesday.
How I can relate is when I was reading my book after school my cat Bubbles woke up from her naps every time thunder clapped.

Christmas talent show film

In this short film, a girl is passionate about dance. A Christmas talent show is coming up and she wants her dad to come. But he is always caught up in work. On the night the girl has stage fright and forgets to dance, when her dad goes in the middle of the aisle and helps her remember the dance.
I think the girl's passion is dance as she is so dedicated to be in the Christmas talent show.
the dad is busy because of his work.
I think the mum is dead because we see the dad doing many household jobs like cooking and grocery shopping.
I would give the dad advice like: Show more respect for your kid, Help her with projects and spend more time with her.
I think the girl feels upset and angry because her dad is not showing her any attention.

Eggplants christmas

there once was a eggplant sitting still
He was waiting by a grill
As the humans walked on pass
they never thought of him 1st class

But as it approached Christmas day
It all changed in a way
One of the humans carried him in
Lucky it wasn't to the bin

He was put down by the tree
from there he felt like he was free
he watched as children opened gifts
one of them got a minifig cliff.

Eggplant now lives by the fire
Watching the family on a wire
His only wish is to watch tv
the cooking show is the key

Swimming

this week Marama started swimming. Here are 5 water/sun safety tips.:
1. Wear a hat and sunscreen outside.
2. Don't go in water unless a adult knows where you are.
3. Don't run near pools.
4. Always have an eye on younger children.
5. Wear a lifejacket in deep seas.

My favorite place to swim is bay wave in Tauranga I love the waves that are made.

Baywave is also my favorite memory. I went with my family and had a blast.

What if

What if children had tails?
then bullying would be easier and punishment as well.
What if leaves were fish.
then the world will smell of dead fish and trees will be cut down.
What if toes were teeth?
then the dentist will quit their jobs for treating such disgusting areas.

My favourite food.

My favorite breakfast is pancakes with butter, lemon, and sugar.
 I think mum makes the pancakes with Edmonds. I put butter with lemon and sugar on my pancakes. I love this as breakfast because mum makes them so good and they fill me up a lot.

My favorite lunch is Sushi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sushi is made out of rice, seaweed sheet, and whatever filling you choose. My favorite flavors are pineapple and cream cheese, and teriyaki chicken. I love sushi because it is healthy and it is just yum!

And finally dinner. I love teriyaki chicken on rice.

Shopping

I went online and found something for my family. there were three budgets I could have got. $99, $91 and $83. I got $83. this is the one I want and I am glad I did. Here are the results. I got everything at the Warehouse. (I didn't really buy these, this is just a screenshot for my blog post.)
