Bye Bye plastic bags

Ngatea is saying goodbye to plastic bags and my nana is the sponsor. Dowah, my nana is the start of it all. We all hate single-use plastic bags so Dowah took action by starting a sewing bee. She and others are making boomerang bags. I think this is a great idea because it not only saves our oceans but it shows great community work. I have participated by coming to the meeting's and handing out posters. I am happy that lots of people are helping and that people are providing fabric for everyone.
